HAVERHILL EXPERIMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL

H.E.F.F. is the only experimental film festival in New England.

It is run by two people.

Those two people happen to be twins.

They spent summers in Haverhill every year since they were ten years old.

After college, they lived there for a year with their father, stepmother, and twin brothers. Yes, more twins.

They applied for a local cultural council grant for shits and giggles in 2012.

They got the grant.

Four years later, four festivals down, four grants used up, they're preparing for their fifth event on June 9+10, 2017.

Now they live in Durham, North Carolina.

The Internet makes it possible to run a festival from afar. The Internet's really neat.
